Instructions

Configuration
  1. Element Capture: First select capture element from visual elements section.(Tip: you can hide this element).
  2. Capture Screenshot a capture Action: Set this action in any workflow from which you want to capture a screenshot.
Then fill requirements:
  • File Name: Enter the desired name for the downloaded file.
  • Capture Type :Choose the type of screenshot: viewport, full-page, or element.
  • Element id:(Required if "element" is selected as the Capture Type) β€” Provide the ID of the specific element you want to capture.
  • Export as PDF:Check this option if you want to generate a PDF file of the screenshot.
  • Compression Quality:Enter a value between 0.1 and 1.0 to set the image compression level.
  • Image Format:Select the image format: png, jpg, or jpeg.
  • Save to DB:Check this option if you want to save the screenshot URL to the Bubble database.
  • Add watermark:Check this option to add a watermark to the screenshot or PDF.
  • Watermark Text or Logo: Provide the text or upload the logo you want to use as a watermark.
  • watermark position:Choose the position for the watermark: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, or center.
  • Secreenshot_taken Event: When you enable "Save to DB", you must trigger the screenshot_taken event. This ensures that the plugin captures the screenshot and initiates the save process.
  • Upload Screenshot API:After triggering the screenshot action, add the Upload Screenshot step. This is an API call used to upload the captured screenshot to the Bubble database. Once the upload is successful, it returns a URL that you can store in your desired data type.
  • Appurl: Use your_app_name.bubbleapps.io/version-test for the development version. If your app is live, simply remove /version-test from the URL.
  • Name: Provide a custom name if you want to save the file in the database with a specific name.
  • Content: Enter the base64 URL stored in the state of the capture element, which is β€œscreenshot_url_return”.
Note! [Steps 3 and 4 are optional and only required if you want to upload the screenshot file to the Bubble database. If not, you can safely skip these steps.]
